Behavioural Analysis 2026 will take place in the beautiful city of Krakow in southern Poland. Our venue, the Qubus Hotel, is located on the banks of the Vistula River is only a 5-minute walk from the famous Kazimierz District. The Old Town (with its main market square) is a 20-30 minute walk – or short tram ride – away. The Wawel Castle and, beneath it, the fire-breathing Wawel Dragon (both featured in our 2026 conference logo) are also within a walkable distance.

The nearest train station is Kraków Zabłocie and there are direct trains to Zabłocie from John Paul II International Airport Kraków-Balice (KRK). The train ride costs 20 PLN and it’s only a 5-minute walk from the station to the venue.

The ‘Wawel Dragon’ is the symbol of Krakow. It represents a famous Polish legend about a dragon that terrorised the city before being defeated by a clever shoemaker. A fire-breathing statue of the dragon, designed by Bronisław Chromy, stands at the foot of Wawel Hill, near the Vistula River, and is a popular tourist attraction. In September 2026 our delegates are all urged to use the Behavioural Analysis experience to become clever shoemakers!

Optional Guided Tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum

We are offering Behavioural Analysis 2026 attendees – especially those who have never visited southern Poland before – an optional guided tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum on the afternoon of Friday, September 18th.

Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest of the World War II German Nazi concentration and extermination camps, is a site of immense historical significance and synonymous with The Holocaust. Over 1.1 million men, women, and children lost their lives there.

Tour Details:

  • Departure: Coaches will depart from the conference venue at approximately 13:00
  • Journey: The 75km journey to the memorial site takes around 80 minutes
  • Guided Visit: The guided tour will begin at 15:00 and last approximately 3.5 hours
  • Return: Participants are expected to be back in Krakow by approximately 20:30

There will never be no more than 30 participants on each tour. We shall book as many tours as is necessary to accommodate all those who wish to take part.

Cost and Registration:
The tour is offered at no extra cost and is included within the conference rate. This arrangement is designed to facilitate participation for delegates whose attendance is funded by employers, by negating the need for their having to seek separate approval for an optional extra.
If you wish to participate, please indicate this on the Registration Form so that sufficient coaches can be booked. Any delegates registering after 2 September 2026 will not be guaranteed a place on the tour.
