The RAF Museum is a wonderful venue, located on the site of the former Hendon Aerodrome. There are no hotels on site, but it is easily accessible by public transport. Overseas attendees may well prefer to stay at hotels in central London, and experience all the UK’s capital city has to offer. This is very achievable as the venue is only a short Underground ride from central London to Colindale on the Northern Line and a 10-minute walk from Colindale to the museum.

The Green Light team will be staying at the Novotel London Wembley and we will be offering coach transportation between the RAF Museum and this hotel during the conference. The Novotel London Wembley is located next to the iconic Wembley Stadium, opposite a food court and in close proximity to the London Designer Outlet shopping centre. It is also only a 3-minute walk from Wembley Park Underground station, offering direct tube links to central London.

We have a preferential rate at the Novotel London Wembley of £159 B&B for single occupancy, based on a minimum of a two-night stay. To obtain this rate you will need to book before 10th April. To make a reservation, please email the hotel directly at You will be asked for a credit card guarantee, and the credit card will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival.

For delegates wishing to stay in Wembley, but at a more economical rate there are two Premier Inns. Providing we are notified of your reservation at either of these hotels, or indeed at the more exclusive Hilton Wembley, 30 days before the conference begins, you will be able to join the conference shuttle bus to and from the Novotel London Wembley.

Hotels in closer proximity to the RAF Museum include:

  • The Premier Inn London Hendon, 2.4km/1.5 miles from the venue
  • Holiday Inn Brent Cross 4.8km/3 miles from the venue
  • Best Western Palm Hotel, 5.7km/3.6 miles from the venue

The nearest hotel to the venue, and probably the most economical, is the Premier Inn.  The Holiday Inn at Brent Cross is also quite close to the RAF Museum and has the advantage of being on the Underground and located directly opposite one of London’s largest shopping centres with a multitude of eateries. But please do note that both these hotels, as well as the Palm, are all located on busy arterial roads.

The RAF Museum has a preferential rate negotiated with Best Western Palm Hotel of £85 per night on a B&B basis, which is subject to availability. To secure this rate, please email and state that you will be participating in the conference at the RAF Museum.
